Levels of Care

At Providence Place, we believe you should only pay for the services that you need. For this reason, we now offer 5 levels of care to our Residents.

Each of us age differently, so your level of care will be determined by a points-based assessment that captures only the services you need. The examples below are just to give you an idea what your level of care might be.

A resident who is level 1 is receiving only very basic services, they are mostly independent, but may require assistance with reminders to meals, activities and medication administration.

A resident who is level 2 is receiving more services than level 1. At level 2 the resident remains independent in many activities of daily living; but requires regular additional services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, standby assistance, etc...

A resident who is level 3 is receiving many services at regularly scheduled intervals, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, assistance with transferring. A person who is Level 3 is not independent in their activities of daily living.

Residents who are level 4 & 5 are needing regular assistance beyond those services mentioned above.
